YAS CAMP '11

hearts were moved and lives were changed. a camp not everyone will easily forget.
yas camp this year was extremely intense, the messages sent out i had heard before so i guess i was used to it, but for those who were listening to it the first time must of found it quite inspiring.
His presence changed the schedule for the day and created memories for everyone that they would always remember. ive lost count of the amount of people i layed my hands on that night but it just shows those who dont believe, a slap because reality has hit them.
though it was a bit disappointing to see people not taking what was said seriously and not listening to our preacher speak. every session that took place, i look around and theres always at least 5 people drawing on their books, talking to their friends, playing with their cameras and just not paying attention.
im sure no one would like it if they saw the tops of heads the whole time they were speaking about something they were passionate about.
i hope that with the help of my fellow leaders and youth reps that we would be able to make our youth a place to worship God and listen to his word for themselves and not just to be with other people.
